(Dreamfinder x Decorator Colors [TB])

This filly was one of our first top show Appaloosas once we switched from Thoroughbreds to Appaloosas. Sired by Dreamfinder and out of one of our very best Thoroughbred mares, Decorator Colors. We had gone to Keeneland to purchase the dam, with an idea of getting a top conformation hunter type to breed to Appaloosas. We went thru 1600 head that year at Keeneland, before we were able to find this tall, dark bay daughter of Well Decorated ($25,000 stud fee) and out of the great mare Reason To Earn (dam of Seattle Slew's sire, and 3 other black type winners). Once showing, "Dreamy" was Cal-Western high point mare for 2 years. She won the Iowa Futurity as a yearling, and was started as a 3 yr old. A minor freak accident at the trainers tore the thin skin under her armpit, laying her up for quite some time until it healed. Our older Thoroughbred stallion was having some trouble with cancer, and it was decided to breed Dreamy to him, for what was his last foal. The solid black colt born the following year was Color Negative... 1999 World Champion Hunter In Hand Gelding. (He is actually 3/4 Thoroughbred)

Dreamy was bred to Impressive Andrew and from that breeding, produced Infrared.
Her 2000 foal is a colored black filly by Classic Black (sold) was Class NV.
Her 2001 bay colt by Classic Black is Neoclassic.
