For the Worlds Best Appaloosa award, we would like to thank the Appaloosa Horse Club, Sergeants Western World, Featherlite Trailers, Kathy's Show Equiptment.
What a journey it has been!
Way back in 2006, after Worlds, I had a thought...maybe Dollar and I could come back to compete in some of the all around classes at Worlds. I know he could do it, but could I? It would require commitment in training and conditioning...for both of us. Dollar is a exceptionally talented horse, able to rope and set arena records... as well as his newest sport, jumping. He comes by his talent naturally... his half brother is Pleasant Dreams (2002 World's Best Appaloosa). Also 1/2 brothers Classic Black (gold medallion stallion), and multiple event winner, Spotdotcom . Trained for the majority of his show career by Jim Jirkovsky, J/S Training, I am still in awe that I get to ride this horse. He never "dumbs down" to his rider, but requires his rider to come up to speed and do your best. I feel truely blessed to have Dollar here... who knows where we'll go next!
