HUMP DAY CLASSIC August 23-23 (date chage, arena change) 2 day show, 4 judges...BJ Le Master, Grant Gibbs, John Tabb, and Billy Baber!!!. We will follow the same guidelines for the 2 day show, but will arrange it differently. Arena to be the NEW $3million Fuji Park, Carson City, NV (NEW $3 MILLION FACILITY!!!!!) Pending Jackpot Roping Saturday night.
FOR THE NEVADA COLOR CLASSIC I & II (April 13, May 10),
ApHC Entry fees- $30.00 per horse for one class, $40.00 per horse UNLIMITED classes including Open breed classes. Cattle charges- $8.00 per run. No Jump fees.
Open breed classes $5.00 each.
** We will only be having calf roping at the May 10 show!
PLEASE NOTE.... no stalls avail. on the ranch! Stable facilities are overnight at the Douglas County Fairground (aprox. 10 minutes), for minimal fee in nice metals stalls (bring bedding). Call me in you need reservations there.
This is a fun show, very laid back and a great place to get your feet wet in the Appaloosa Show pen. We incourage pre-entries by Wednesday before the show, and if you wait to enter the day of the show, it just slows things down. We don't ahve alot of extra folks to run things...we're all wanting to show... so if you have a spouse, friend, child, etc. that could help out in the arena chores, it would greatly be appreciated! The open classes are for any breed of horse, including Appaloosas, so bring along a friend to show as well.
