Chestnut Shetland family, Wrangler (Stallion), Rascal (foal) and Maydee (mare).

Older brown pinto Wrangler

More Wranglers... test color ash grey, rare color grey pinto, and brown pinto.

Maydee in brown pinto (these range from dark red to almost a palomino color).

Rascal in brown pinto

This piece is a test color...probably more correctly, as color sample, as the pony slip is colored the tan (like the San Marcos chestnuts were), with a darker underglaze brown on his head and white on the back legs...I actually found online a photo of a similar colored real horse!

Hagen-Renaker produced "Misty", sold thru Breyer.

When these were first issued, I was cold painting pieces...I did these in H-R colors of rose grey and brown.

Test color headup Circus Pony.
